Community Outreach & Homeless Ministry
Being centrally located next to the Bladensburg Town Hall, it is not only our goal to preach the good news of Jesus Christ within our church walls but also spread the love of Jesus to members of the community. We wish to partner with the leaders of Bladensburg to uplift and provide assistance to those in need. It is also our prayer to reach those abroad by establishing relationships with various missionaries.
Evangelism and discipleship are interconnected and feed into one another. As we reach out, speaking and living the gospel, He grows us. As we grow, we have greater desire and motivation to share the gospel. We started this ministry to answer the Church’s call to alleviate suffering around us. Proverbs 19:17 teaches us: “Kindness to the poor is a loan to the LORD, and He will give a reward to the lender.” Everyone is invited and we welcome all interested in learning, sharing, and being a part of any of our outreach events.
Children's Ministry
The importance of children’s ministry is that it is vital to the future of any church. When the focus is put on children and youth, that’s when we’re most likely to create and raise lifelong believers. Moreover, having a thriving children’s ministry helps our church to be truly family and community oriented. We’re able to show that we authentically care about the younger generation and put value and effort into their upbringing. Through this ministry, the church is able to show children that we truly love having them be a part of our family.
Men's & Women's Ministry
Our purpose is to cultivate an environment where genuine relationships can be formed and where men of God will feel a sense of community with one another. Our desire is for this to be a personal ministry where brothers in Christ can come together and edify each other in an effort to further our relationships, with each other, our families and our God.
Music Ministry
Our talents are God’s gift to us. We use these talents to praise and celebrate the word of God. Music is such an important part of today’s society but more importantly it is an integral part of worship.
