andreW ANDERSON - DEACON, CHAIRMAN BOARD
Andrew is a devoted member of Decatur Heights Baptist Church since the young age of 8. With nearly three decades of faithful attendance and over ten years of service as both a Deacon and Trustee, he now humbly serves as our Chairman of the Deacon Board. Andrew is passionate about caring for the community, supporting our church family, and helping ensure the smooth operation of church life.
He is grateful to witness God's ongoing work in the growth and renewal of DHBC and is committed to serving wherever he is needed.
MELISIA MORGAN - ADMINISTRATOR
Melisia serves faithfully as the Administrator of Decatur Heights Baptist Church, where she ensures the church’s daily operations run with excellence and care. From coordinating ministry efforts to supporting church leadership and planning events, her forte is making sure only the best is good enough.

Founded over a century ago, DHBC has served as a spiritual landmark in the Bladensburg community. Through wars, cultural shifts, and generations of change—our commitment has stayed the same: preach the Gospel, care for people, and stay faithful to God’s calling.
